Was He Behind It All Along? – Shocking New Evidence Shows Dr. Fauci’s Role in Downplaying the Covid Lab Leak Theory

The House Coronavirus Pandemic Select Subcommittee headed by Representative Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) wrote a bombshell report that accused Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, of helping to draft a paper that he later cited as evidence against the lab leak origin theory of COVID-19. He prompted this draft despite being warned that the lab theory was plausible.

The actual charge in the report on Fauci’s misdeeds reads that there is “[n]ew evidence released by the Select Subcommittee today suggests that Dr. Fauci “prompted” the drafting of a publication that would “disprove” the lab leak theory, the authors of this paper skewed available evidence to achieve that goal, and Dr. Jeremy Farrar [the current chief scientist at the World Health Organization] went uncredited despite significant involvement.”

The charge is therefore more than just Dr. Fauci directing that a paper on COVID origins should be written but that the paper was written with an a priori conclusion in mind and that it “skewed” data toward that end. These revelations, that have emails and other documentation to back them up, stand contrary to previous testimony given to the committee. As noted by Just The News “[b]efore the paper was published, Fauci edited and approved it, the subcommittee stated. The article went on to become one of the best-read scientific works ever, and Fauci even cited it from the White House podium to quell any lab leak concerns to the American public.”

The article in Just The News also added that “Fauci, then-director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reportedly pushed against the lab leak theory despite learning in February 2020 that COVID-19 may have originated in a lab leak in Wuhan, China, and it may have been purposely genetically manipulated, the House subcommittee also found.”

Representative Wenstrup explained the purpose of the probe as “[w]hat we are trying to do is to follow the breadcrumbs…Look at the forensics of what took place…it is important to find the origins of COVID.” He also explained in the same video attached to his retweet saying that he saw “quite a bit of intelligence” on the virus’s origin but that there was more still to see.

Wenstrup’s declaration comes amid further revelations that governmental agencies are leaning toward the lab leak theory being the more credible explanation for COVID’s origin. Chris Wray, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, recently came out on Fox News and declared that “[t]he FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan. Here you are talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government-controlled lab.”

Mr. Wray added that “I will just make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing its best to try to thwart and obfuscate the work here, the work that we’re doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing. And that’s unfortunate for everybody.”

Dr. Fauci’s potential motive for trying to dismiss a lab leak origin theory is that American taxpayer money was awarded to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to study bat coronaviruses. This same institute is the likely suspect for the leaking of the same coronavirus that led to the pandemic.
