Donald Trump, the Forty-Fifth President of the United States, announced Tuesday during an address at Mar-a-Lago that he intends to run for President once again in 2024.
“America’s comeback starts right now,” Trump began, before listing a series of problems caused and enabled by the disastrous Biden Presidency — ranging from high gas prices to the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
“For millions of Americans, the past two years under Joe Biden have been a time of pain, hardship, anxiety, and despair,” Trump remarked.
Trump then listed the successes of his Presidency — in job creation, border security, energy independence, and the economy. “I kept my promises,” Trump said. He most certainly did, and America is all the better for it!
Trump turned to focus on America’s relationship with our foreign adversaries, claiming these adversaries “respected” both him and the United States of America. Indeed, they feared him. Trump kept us safe, and by making America’s military robust, the world too was safe. That’s why the American people loved and still love Donald Trump.
Then Trump announced his candidacy — with loud applause as he did so.
“In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for the President of the United States,” Trump remarked.
“Our country is in a horrible state, we are in grave trouble. This is not the task for a politician or a conventional candidate … this is a job for tens of millions of proud people.” Trump added, focusing on the unity of the MAGA movement — an inclusive movement that welcomes all patriots.
“We are Americans, and we do not have to endure what is going on in Washington D.C. … We will defeat the radical left Democrats” Trump added. “I will ensure Biden does not receive four more years… our country cannot take it.”
“In two years the Biden Administration has destroyed the US Economy. With victory, we will again build the greatest economy ever.” Trump pledged, “We will again put America First — every policy!”

Trump had hinted at his 2024 run during a rally for Ohio Republican J.D. Vance last Monday, stating:
“Two years ago, we were a great nation and we will be a great nation again. The first step to saving America is winning an epic victory for Republicans tomorrow. I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. We want nothing to detract from the importance of tomorrow.” Trump said.
Trump also took steps to file for President under the FEC shortly before his announcement on Tuesday:
While the 2024 Primary process is sure to be grueling, we know one thing for sure — Republicans must take back the White House in 2024.
