BREAKING: Kari Lake Reveals ‘The Smoking Gun’ in Arizona Election Lawsuit

On Friday morning, former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake took to Twitter to showcase new revelations concerning ballot signatures in the 2022 midterm elections.

“Maricopa County Election Officials REFUSE To Allow [Kari Lake] Legal Team To Inspect Ballot Signatures,” Lake wrote, adding, “What are they hiding?”

“Maricopa County has confirmed what we all knew to be true: Ballot signatures DO NOT MATCH,’ she revealed, adding, “Election Officials brazenly HIDING EVIDENCE from us.”

“This is the smoking gun,” she emphasized. “Unfortunately for them, I’m not giving up — even if that means legally forcing them to hand over evidence.”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Lake attorney Kurk Olsen described the breadth of the problem in an appearance on ‘The Absolute Truth’ for LindellTV following a Wednesday night ruling by the Arizona Supreme Court that upheld many of the decisions in favor of Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs and County Recorder Stephen Richer, except for one.

Olsen explained to host Emerald Robinson, “The Supreme Court did remand this case back on the issue of signature verification, which is a very, very significant issue.”

“There are literally over 100,000 ballots in question because of invalid signatures that were accepted and tabulated,” he continued.

“This is not a challenge about simply a few bad signatures,” the attorney said. “This is about a systemic failure of the entire signature verification process, which is allowing tens of thousands of ballots with signatures that don’t match the record on file. And this is the only security feature for mail-in voting.”

The single claim the court allowed to proceed is Lake’s assertion that Arizona’s signature verification laws for mail-in ballots were not followed by Maricopa County during the 2022 election.

These revelations reveal the shocking impact that lackluster enforcement of the election laws can have on an election, particularly one that was so close.

Governor Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) won the midterm race with 50.3 percent of the vote while Lake secured 49.7 percent support with a margin of just over 17,000 votes.
