According to a representative for Majors, the actor was arrested on charges of assault, strangulation, and harassment. They would also add that Majors was no longer in police custody.

“He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” A representative for Majors told CBS News.

Majors has become one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood. He is an integral part of the next stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the main supervillain Kang the Conquerer. Majors’ tenure with the MCU is set to culminate with the release of ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ in 2025. He has already recently appeared in ‘AntMan and the Wasp: Quantumania’ and is set to appear in season 2 of ‘Loki’ which is set to release later this year, as well as other MCU projects between now and 2025.

Outside of the MCU, Majors recently starred alongside Michael B. Jordan in ‘Creed III’ and his stock as an actor has only been rising. He was one of many presenters at the Oscars several weeks ago, and received an Emmy nomination for his role in the HBO series ‘Lovecraft Country.’
