BREAKING: President Trump Makes New Statement on Soros-Funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg

On Sunday, 45th President and leading 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump issued a new statement on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) who is currently pursuing a case against him.

“When Alvin Bragg first attained office, he made it very clear that, like many other prosecutors, there was no case against Donald J. Trump,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “Then the Biden Administration, the Democrats, and the Fake News Media began pushing him, and pushing him hard, and low and behold he said that there might just be a case after all.”

“I knew what that meant — He was being pushed to do something that shouldn’t be done,” Trump explained. “He wasn’t willing to stand up to Soros and the Marxists that are destroying our Country!”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Bragg has received ample funding from left-wing billionaire George Soros who is infamous for funding progressive district attorneys across the country that refuses to prosecute low-level crime.

Bragg was funded by Soros via the Color of Change PAC, the “nation’s largest online racial justice organization”, which was given $1 million in May 2021 from Soros, gave $1 million to Bragg, but later pulled back half of the donation.

“There was no ‘misdemeanor’ here either. There was no crime, period,” he emphasized. “All other of the many Democrat law enforcement officers that looked at it, took a pass. So did Cy Vance, and so did Bragg. But then, much later, he changed his mind. Gee, I wonder why? Prosecutorial Misconduct and Interference with an Election. Investigate the Investigators!”

The new statement comes after lawmakers, Trump supporters, and concerned citizens from across the country spoke out against the potential indictment of President Trump.

Bragg is attempting to charge Trump with an illegal election contribution via a $130,000 payment paid to Stormy Daniels based on the word of the disgraced lawyer, and convicted liar, Michael Cohen. Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, pleaded guilty in 2018 to federal charges including five counts of tax invasion, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution, and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution at the request of a candidate. In addition, Cohen was charged with lying to Congress.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, news broke on Friday evening that five senior officials told NBC News that law enforcement agencies are conducting “preliminary security assessments” for the Manhattan Criminal Court in case Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) brings charges.

In response to this news, President Trump responded on Saturday morning, saying that he will be “arrested” on Tuesday:

“Our nation is now third world and dying. The American dream is dead! The radical left anarchists have stolen our presidential election, and with it, the heart of our country. American patriots are being arrested and held in captivity like animals, while criminals and leftist thugs are allowed to roam the streets, killing and burning with no retribution. Millions are flooding through our open borders, many from prisons and mental institutions. Crime and inflation are destroying our very way of life. Now illegal leaks from a corrupt and highly political Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has allowed new records to be set in violence crime and whose leader is funded by George Soros indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven, and based on an old and fully debunked (by numerous other prosecutors!) fairytale, the far and away leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take our nation back!”

Bragg is attempting to bring a case against President Trump that has a shaky legal foundation. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Harvard legal expert Alan Dershowitz explained that the case against Trump was “targeted injustice” against the leading political opponent of President Biden.

“When I was coming of age in the 1950s Southern prosecutors would target civil rights workers and search for any possible violation of the law, no matter how technical,” Dershowitz wrote in his newsletter. “If they discovered or invented a violation, they would indict, prosecute, convict, and sentence the target…That, precisely, is what we are now seeing with the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, targeting the former president and current candidate, Donald Trump.”

He further commented that “[a]fter spending months searching the criminal code for a law that Mr. Trump might be accused of violating, Mr. Bragg has apparently landed on a highly questionable campaign contribution provision that has never before been used in a comparable situation…All decent people, whether politically opposed to Mr. Trump (as I am) or supportive of his candidacy, should be concerned about this weaponizing of the prosecutor’s office for the political purpose of preventing a potential candidate from running for office.”

“Equal protection of the law requires equal application and non-application of criminal statutes,” he emphasized. “Mr. Bragg would be violating that important principle if he seeks a grand jury indictment based on what now appears to be the slim evidence and even slimmer legal basis.”
