Incumbent Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) has won reelection in a tight contest with Democrat competitor Mandela Barnes to represent Wisconsin in the US Senate.

Johnson, who received Trump’s endorsement back in April 2021, had a narrow polling lead on Barnes heading into election night. Real Clear Politics had Johnson winning by 3.6 points. Indeed, Johnson is an America First fighter who has represented Wisconsin in the Senate since 2011.

With 99 percent of the vote in, it looks like Johnson will squeeze out a narrow victory in a race Republicans desperately needed if they wanted a shot at taking the Senate. While we await the results from other battleground states, this victory is a genuine sigh of relief for Republicans.
