“Enough is Enough” 17 Members of Congress File Huge Lawsuit Against the CDC, Seeks an End to Mandates on Planes

Thomas Massie (R-KY) has filed a new lawsuit against the CDC in response to the continuation of mask mandates on commercial flights. The lawsuit was announced on Monday, March 14th, 2022, and seeks to remove mandates for commercial aviation throughout the country.

Sixteen fellow members of Congress have decided to join Massie and fight back against the CDC and the Biden Administrations. The list includes Marjorie Taylor Greene, Andy Biggs, Lauren Boebert, Chip Roy, Rand Paul, and so many more.

The lawsuit seeks to remove the mask mandate for individuals on commercial flights due to the claim that “the mask mandate is beyond the CDC’s statutory authority or is unconstitutional.” Of course, the CDC will likely contest that claim.

Representative Massie alleges, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not have the legal authority to force people traveling on commercial airlines to wear masks…. Congress never passed a law requiring masks on commercial flights. This lawsuit targets the faceless bureaucrats who are behind the CDC’s unscientific regulation so that this illegal mask mandate can be brought to a permanent end.”

According to the press release, Representative Massie asks that the courts decide the CDC has no constitutional authority to impose such mandates and lift the mask mandates for individuals on commercial planes. The decision to sue came after the Biden Administration decided to extend the mandates for flights until April 18th.

Rand Paul, a co-plaintiff in the case, said, “I’ve been leading the charge in the Senate to end these unscientific, unconstitutional mask mandates, and am proud to continue the fight by joining Rep. Massie on this effort.” Rand Paul has continuously made hard stances for freedom when it comes to Covid-19 and this week introduced legislation to eliminate Dr. Fauci’s position – a pretty bold move.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been the opposite of shy regarding her stance on Covid-19 and the Biden Administrations’ handle on it. She will be joining the case as well. She took to Twitter to say, “It’s time to stop wearing masks on airplanes. It’s been 2 years. Enough is enough.”

Representative Brian Mast (R-FL), another co-plaintiff, declared, “From asthmatic toddlers to elderly grandmothers, millions of Americans have been subject to Joe Biden’s mask mandate on planes, even while liberal politicians fly maskless on their private jets.”

This will undoubtedly be a lawsuit to follow in the coming months as the fight for medical freedom is not over. Thankfully, vital members of the Republican party are pushing full speed ahead towards liberty.
