A new Rasmussen Reports poll indicates, most likely, U.S. voters favor launching investigations into the origins of the Covid-19 virus. More importantly, most likely, voters want Biden’s Medical Advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to testify before Congress concerning his knowledge of Covid origins.

“In June 2021, only 40% of voters believed that Fauci, the federal government’s top virus expert, had told the truth about U.S. funding of so-called “gain-of-function” research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Sunday on Twitter there should be a ‘full-throated investigation into the origins of the [COVID-19] pandemic. [Dr. Fauci] must be required to testify under oath regarding any discussions he participated in concerning the Wuhan lab leak,‘” the report details.

According to Rasmussen, 72 percent of likely voters concur with Senator Paul’s statement, including 51% who strongly desire a “full-throated investigation.” Only 22% of likely voters disagree!

Paul and Fauci have had their share of dynamic interactions over the past few years as the Kentucky Senator presses Fauci for greater transparency. And there’s good reason for Paul’s fiery interactions with Dr. Fauci — the American people are demanding answers.

The poll finds 46 percent of Americans do not believe Fauci has told the truth about funding “gain of function” research. While 61 percent of Democrats believe Fauci has been transparent, only 19 percent of Republicans agree. A whopping 72 percent of Republicans believe Fauci has not been honest on this question!

If Fauci cares about public health, you would think he would be more than willing to assuage the concerns of such a sizable portion of the American public.

The poll also finds that “68% of Likely U.S. voters think it’s likely that the COVID-19 virus originated in a Chinese laboratory, including 48% who say it’s Very Likely. Twenty percent (20%) don’t believe the virus came from a Chinese lab, and another 12% aren’t sure.”

If Trump were president, do you think that Chinese spy balloon would still be flying?*

These startling numbers indicate America’s desire to learn the truth about Covid’s origins. The Government works for us, after all; it is their job to lay out the facts in a digestible and transparent way. We deserve a federal government that is worthy of all trust. Perhaps a Republican-led House can settle the concerns of the American people once and for all., We certainly hope so.
