The FBI has announced that it is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone providing information in relation to a recent string of attacks against anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers, reproductive health clinics, and faith-based organizations. many of which are run by Christian organizations.
According to the FBI Thursday, the Bureau is set to payout informers who can provide them with “information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for these crimes,”
“Today’s announcement reflects the FBI’s commitment to vigorously pursue investigations into crimes against pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and reproductive health clinics across the country,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray.
“We will continue to work closely with our national, state, and local law enforcement partners to hold responsible anyone who uses extremist views to justify their criminal actions.”
The Washington Examiner reported that the FBI under Wray has faced mounting criticism from anti-abortion groups and conservatives that it has overlooked the violence against these facilities which offer services to pregnant women as a healthy alternative to abortion that preserves the life of the child and are frequently located near abortion providers.

Republicans in the House of Representatives passed a resolution in early January condemning the attacks against the anti-abortion facilities and churches.
Republican Conference Vice Chairman Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA), who introduced the resolution explained,
“We are introducing this resolution to make the position of Congress crystal clear: violence, property damage, threats, and intimidation tactics must be condemned, and these clear violations of federal and state laws must be prosecuted.”
200 House Democrats voted against this condemnation.
Since the Supreme Court draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization presaging the overturn of Roe v. Wade was leaked, approximately 78 different anti-abortion pregnancy centers were “attacked, firebombed, or vandalized,” as reported by The Daily Signal.
The outlet added that the FBI can investigate these crimes as “potential acts of domestic violent extremism, Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) violations, or violent crime matters, depending on the facts of each case.”
The FBI announcement came mere days after a pregnancy center announced it was hiring private investigators because of a lack of FBI response, as reported by Fox News. A network of facilities in New York also hired private investigators after citing an inadequate response from the Bureau to a firebomb attack in June 2021.
Tom Brejcha, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Society, told Fox News, “They’ve been responsive, but what they’ve done we don’t know.”
