In the wake of the “Twitter Files,” Kyle Rittenhouse publicly asked if Elon Musk could find out “if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on Twitter.”

Rittenhouse said that he hoped the censorship campaign levied against him might be exposed according to Fox News.

Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges related to his acts of self-defense during the 2020 rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. He asked Musk if the Twitter owner would “consider releasing the censoring done” on his trial in a tweet that has subsequently gone viral with over 66 thousand likes as of this report.

In full, Rittenhouse tweeted Monday, “Learning about the Twitter files and @elonmusk releasing the truth is making me more and more curious to find out if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on Twitter. I am hoping, one day soon, I will be able to find out and the truth will be shown to all of us.”

Jillian Anderson, Rittenhouse’s publicist followed with two Twitter replies explaining what he experienced in the aftermath of Kenosha.

“Immediately after the incident in Kenosha, major platforms like GoFundMe & Facebook shut down any grassroots efforts to help Kyle – w the latter blocking any mentions of his name whatsoever. This was a problem bc legal bills were mounting, what role did Twitter play @elonmusk?”

She added, “Over 14 platforms shut us down, and mentioning his name was flagged as violence across many platforms, getting an accurate account of the story or his POV was nearly impossible in the court of public opinion at the time.”

Former Covington High School student Nicholas Sandmann, who suffered his own episode with the media falling under intense scrutiny in 2019 for merely smiling as an activist pounded a drum just inches from his face, also asked Musk if he possessed “any hidden Twitter files” regarding the death threats that he and fellow students of Covington High School received in the subsequent months according to Breitbart.
