Watch: Shaq Gets Red-Pilled, Slams Mandates While Liberal Host Melts

Former NBA star and media personality Shaquille O’Neal announced yesterday on his Podcast he is against forced COVID-19 vaccinations. Shaquille O’Neal, better known as Shaq, had a prolific NBA Career. The number one pick in the 1992 NBA Draft, Shaq was a fifteen-time NBA All-Star and a one-time NBA Most Valuable Player. Shaq also won four NBA titles, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and one with the Miami Heat. He was named to the NBA’s Fiftieth Anniversary Fifty Greatest Players List. Earlier this year, he was named to the corresponding list for the league’s 75th Anniversary. Resultantly, it goes without saying that Shaq is one of the greatest Basketball players of all time, a mainstay of almost every top 10 NBA player list. A personality on TNT’s ‘Inside The NBA’ Shaq has stayed in the public eye even after leaving the realm of basketball. He is also a brand ambassador for The General Auto Insurance and Papa John’s Pizza and some other smaller ventures.

Yesterday, Shaq recorded an episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” a podcast he runs with Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams. Per the Podcast description, “Nischelle Turner & Spice Adams join Shaq each week to go big on everything from music and sports to what’s trending in pop culture.” This week, the topic turned from Superbowl predictions to COVID-19 science. What he said on COVID-19 vaccinations is of interest. Indeed, it will most surely rock the country. The group discussed two New York Nurses who made 1.5 million off fake vaccine cards. Shaq maintains the nurses should not be sent to jail. The Basketball Great said he is not proud of the COVID-19 vaccination mandates that have plagued our country. Here is a transcript of what Shaq said. The relevant section begins at 42:44 on the Podcast:

“I’m gonna probably get in trouble for this…Say Nischelle [his co-host], your sound guy at ‘ET’ been working there 10 years. That [is] all you know. Let’s just say ‘ET’ [Entertainment Tonight where Turner works] puts out a new policy: If you don’t get the vaccination, you’re going to lose your job.. The sound guy has a decision to make, I do not want to go against my morals …Look, I encourage everybody to be safe and take care of your family, I do. But there are still some people that don’t wanna take it. And you shouldn’t have to be forced to take something you don’t want.”

After co-host Nischelle claimed no one was “forced” to take the vaccines, Shaq doubled down, saying the policy was by definition forced: “that’s forced.” After Nischelle Turner claimed “we live in a capitalist society,” Shaq agreed he is a “rules guy,” but he is nonetheless “sympathetic” with those who fight against COVID-19 mandates.

Shaq is right: these mandates certainly meet most  definitions of ” forced ” . Shaq is entirely correct in standing up for the liberties of all American’s. He is not anti-vaccine. He is anti-mandate, as are many Americans who get canceled by the mainstream media.
