A new poll from Rasmussen Reports has revealed that Republican voters can no longer stomach the leadership of incumbent Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel. Unexpectedly though a clear frontrunner emerged with a large plurality of 30 percent of likely voters polled: the unexpected outsider in the race, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell.

According to Rasmussen, McDaniel only secured a paltry 15 percent of likely Republican voters, tieing the result for “none of the above.” Surprisingly, in spite of a major series of conservative interviews and public appearances, Attorney and former Trump Legal Advisor Harmeet Dhillon only garnered 20 percent support leaving 21 percent undecided. This gives Lindell an impressive 10 percent advantage over Dillon and a commanding 15 percent lead over McDaniel.

As a conservative activist since before the 2020 election, Lindell has been a vocal proponent of election integrity and has claimed that the 2020 presidential election was conducted illegally and Joe Biden is not the rightfully elected president.

RNC CHAIR RONNA MCDANIEL PROVES SHE IS A SWAMP CREATURE, SAYS SHE’S UNWILLING TO PUBLICLY DEBATE CHALLENGERS

Rasmussen reports explained the survey was conducted between Jan. 23-25 with 900 likely U.S. voters with a margin of error of +/- 3% and a 95% confidence level.

Ronna McDaniel, the embattled niece of avowed anti-Trump senator and former GOP presidential candidate, Senator Mitt Romney, has suffered a serious fall from grace in the aftermath of a middling 2022 midterm that followed the catastrophe of the 2020 general election that saw the White House, Senate and House seized by the Democrats.

Many prominent Republicans have laid the blame for the GOP’s failure to reverse 2020’s congressional losses on McDaniel and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

According to RSBN, when former President Donald Trump was asked about his choice for RNC chair on RAV’s ‘The Water Cooler’ show, Trump surprisingly didn’t mention Lindell. Instead, he answered by referring to McDaniel and Dhillon only,

“Well, I can honestly say I like both of them. I mean, I get along with both of them. I haven’t taken a stance, you know. Let them fight it out.”

Dhillon has notably been praised by Gov. Ron Desantis (R-FL) according to The Hill with him telling Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, “I think we need a change.” He added, “I think we need to get some new blood in the RNC.”

He continued making reference to a letter that Dhillon sent to RNC members about examining regional offices while keeping the national headquarters in Washington, D.C.

“I like what Harmeet Dhillon has said about getting the RNC out of D.C. Why would you want to have your headquarters in the most Democrat city in America? It’s more Democrat than San Francisco is.”

DeSantis explained, “We’ve had three substandard election cycles in a row: ‘18, ‘20, and ‘22. And I would say of all three of those, ‘22 was probably the worst. Given the political environment of a very unpopular president in Biden, huge majorities of the people think the country is going in the wrong direction — that is an environment that’s tailor-made to make big gains in the House and the Senate and in state houses all across the country. And yet that didn’t happen.”

DeSantis and Lindell appear to have had a falling out after the GOP activist and business leader questioned DeSantis’ election victory in 2020 during an episode of his streaming show “The Lindell Report.”

“I look at deviations, everybody. That’s a deviation. I don’t believe it,” Lindell explained, according to The Hill. Later he added, “I’m going to find out if [Miami-]Dade County – what happened there because it’s a deviation from the norm.”

Mike Lindell was endorsed by independent conservative journalist Laura Loomer who tweeted, “The only true patriot running for RNC chair is Mike Lindell. That’s why I’m proud to endorse him. He’s the only one who won’t make deals with the establishment and won’t push a RINO agenda. I don’t trust anyone else running to be America First. Only Mike.”
