The Most Popular Conservative Channel On YouTube Signs Exclusive Deal With Rumble

A seismic shift just altered the landscape of online conservative entertainment forever. In a March 8th joint statement, online video platform Rumble and Louder with Crowder Studios announced that the most popular conservative channel on YouTube is moving to Rumble.

According to the statement from Rumble, “Rumble, the popular video-sharing platform (NASDAQ; RUM), announced today that the company will exclusively manage Steven Crowder’s content, including his “Mug Club” community and hit show “Louder with Crowder,” adding to the growing list of top content creators on Rumble Exclusives.”

Rumble, a service that describes itself as a “high-growth neutral video platform” was founded by CEO Chris Pavlovski in 2013 according to The Toronto Star, and toiled “in relative obscurity, its presence rendered irrelevant by social media titans like YouTube” until its userbase surged to over 50 million almost overnight in 2021. He later alluded to Steven Crowder’s Louder with Crowder 2022 Election Stream which garnered over 3.5 million views being instrumental to that growth.

LOUDER WITH CROWDER LEAVING BLAZETV

Crowder announced Louder with Crowder’s departure from Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze and its BlazeTV platform in January and the show paused YouTube uploads following a public dispute with The Daily Wire regarding an offer from that company.

Pavlovski told the outlet that he acknowledged that most of the sudden success is because of a surge in interest from conservative Americans.

“We’ve now become the go-to place for a large segment of the U.S. population looking for a platform other than YouTube,” Pavlovski told the Star.

But Pavloski clarified, “Whether you like cats or dogs, or you’re left wing or right wing, we won’t discriminate against who gets to join our platform.”

Pavlovski said in the statement, “Steven Crowder is one of the biggest and most talented podcasters in the world, period,” said Rumble Chairman and CEO Chris Pavlovski. “Not only does Crowder bring amazing content to the table, but he also brings a huge audience and a large number of subscribers with his Mug Club community,” he continued.

“Crowder played a huge role in driving our growth in viewership during the U.S. midterm election in November 2022. We are excited to capitalize on our opportunity in news and political commentary content as we lead up to the U.S. Presidential Election in 2024.”

Crowder told his audience in a video announcement,

“YouTube is making some mistakes, and I think places like Rumble are picking it up, and they’re not forcing me anymore than they are forcing you to fit into a box. They’re just saying hey, here’s a playground and let us have your back and at least be wind in your sails.”

He continued, “This is the first time I’ve signed a contract, I will say this, and I’m really excited – really excited because every single conversation that we had with Rumble was how to make it better for the user; how to make it better for the viewer, and that for me is true North.”

According to LouderwithCrowder.com,

“Rumble will be the new home for Crowder’s “Mug Club.” In addition, Crowder will produce exclusive content on Rumble. The primary show, “Louder with Crowder,” will consist of a one-hour live stream on Rumble, followed by a thirty-minute question and answer session for his paying Mug Club subscribers. Other content on Rumble will include on-location videos, comedic performances, and other types of live shows. Steven Crowder will make his highly anticipated return and go live on Rumble on March 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. ET.”

Past ‘Mugclub‘ subscribers can resume their membership at a reduced rate of $89 per year at mugclub.rumble.com.
