‘The American People Deserve the Truth’: Biden DOJ Caught Blocking Release of Trump Russia Collusion Hoax Documents Exposing FBI

Award-winning investigative journalist John Solomon, the founder of Just The News, is suing the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). In his lawsuit, he claims that NARA was publicly withholding releasing already declassified documents by 45th President Donald Trump. Mr. Solomon says these documents concern the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)’s investigation of the whole shabby Russiagate episode.

Mr. Solomon tweeted about his lawsuit that “President Trump declassified FBI documents in the bungled Russia collusion case more than two years ago but the DOJ National Archives have yet to release them. That’s why I sued yesterday.”

Mr. Solomon’s outlet Just The News wrote that “hundreds of pages of [declassified] documents chronicling the FBI’s bungled Russia collusion probe” have been kept from the public. The lawsuit simply summarized their case as “a case about two government agencies [NARA and the Department of Justice] apparently colluding to evade the Presidential Records Act.”

This lawsuit was filed on behalf of John Solomon by America First Legal [AFL]. In AFL’s press release, they write that they “proudly represents John Solomon in this case. This is another example of the Biden Administration and its allies in the government abusing their power to hide the truth from the American people. AFL is determined to do everything it can to ensure the documents are rightfully handed over to Mr. Solomon and that the American people learn the whole truth about the scandalous and partisan witch-hunt of President Trump.”

The press release had a statement from Reed Rubinstein, a AFL Senior Counsel, that read “[t]he evidence is that the Russia collusion hoax was knowingly and intentionally perpetrated by high-ranking FBI and Department of Justice officials to help Hillary Clinton win the 2016 presidential election. This unprecedented abuse of power and election interference is a scandal so monumental that it dissolves Watergate into insignificance. Former President Trump declassified the FBI’s records to make public the truth, but the Biden Administration and the National Archives are now doing everything in their power to keep the Russia lie alive by obstructing Mr. Solomon’s access to these records. This obstruction cannot stand – the American people deserve the truth.”

John Solomon also had a statement in the press release where he comments that “President Trump declassified these records so the American public could see for itself the abuses and failures of the FBI during the Russia collusion case. But at every step of the process, the public has been thwarted. These declassified records are clear records of the Trump presidency, have clear historical value, and have been wrongly kept from the Archives and its employer, the American people, by the DOJ for more than two years. I’m grateful for America First Legal’s representation so we can win the return of these records to the Archives so they may be reviewed, consumed, and acted upon by the American people.”

Stephen Miller, the founder of AFL, was quoted in an interview by Just The News as saying  that “[i]t is hard to identify a more glaring example of the deep state weaponizing government against the American People than unelected bureaucrats refusing to release the records of the Russia collusion hoax after they have been ordered declassified by the duly-elected President of the United States. America First Legal is truly proud to lead the legal battle to restore true democracy and government accountability in America.”

Those in favor of public transparency and accountability wish this lawsuit well. The century-old memorable adage once uttered by Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis that “sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants” rings true in this day and age of disillusionment and discontent.
