On Saturday morning, 45th President Donald J. Trump made a statement in response to news that broke Friday that he would be indicted next week by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D).
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, five senior officials told NBC News that law enforcement agencies are conducting “preliminary security assessments” for the Manhattan Criminal Court in case Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) brings charges.
In response to this news, President Trump responded, saying that he will be “arrested” on Tuesday:
“Our nation is now third world and dying. The American dream is dead! The radical left anarchists have stolen our presidential election, and with it, the heart of our country. American patriots are being arrested and held in captivity like animals, while criminals and leftist thugs are allowed to roam the streets, killing and burning with no retribution. Millions are flooding through our open borders, many from prisons and mental institutions. Crime and inflation are destroying our very way of life. Now illegal leaks from a corrupt and highly political Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has allowed new records to be set in violence crime and whose leader is funded by George Soros indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven, and based on an old and fully debunked (by numerous other prosecutors!) fairytale, the far and away leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take our nation back!”
In response to the news, Republican lawmakers, both Trump allies and those who have endorsed other 2024 candidates, reacted to the news that Trump expects to be arrested on Tuesday.
ELON MUSK RESPONDS TO NEWS THAT TRUMP WILL BE INDICTED NEXT WEEK
“The impending indictment of President Trump in NY must be treated as it is: a politically-motivated prosecution based on a strained, convoluted legal theory,” wrote Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX). It makes clear the danger of a politicized ‘justice’ system that will be (is being) weaponized against ALL Americans.”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Rep. Roy has endorsed Trump’s potential challenger Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) showcasing that even those not fully aligned with the 45th president are realizing the politicization of the justice system.
“Alvin Bragg is bought by George Soros. He allows violent criminals to walk the streets of New York City, but will prosecute the likely Republican nominee (and former president) on a baseless misdemeanor charge,” wrote Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH). “These people are trying to turn America into a third-world country.”
“I’ve been asked by multiple reporters if an indictment would lead me to rescind my endorsement of Donald Trump,” he continued. “The answer is: hell no. A politically motivated prosecution makes the argument for Trump stronger. We simply don’t have a real country if justice depends on politics.”
