Tit For Tat?: Republican DAs Are Taking Aim At Biden Following Trump Indictment

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed that local District Attorneys from jurisdictions in Kentucky and Tennessee are currently exploring ways to charge President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., and members of the Biden family with state crimes. The legal effort following the prosecution of 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump was revealed Wednesday according to The New York Post.

Comer in his role as Chair is investigating Joe Biden’s role in his son Hunter’s business dealings with Chinese state companies and Ukrainian nationals.

The Post reported that his staff has recently reviewed Suspicious Activity Reports filed by banks to the Treasury Department that have indicated possible criminal activity by members of the President’s immediate family with whom he shares significant financial ties.

“I had two calls yesterday, one from a county attorney in Kentucky and one from a county attorney in Tennessee,” Comer told Fox & Friends.

He added. “They were Republican, obviously, both states are heavily Republican. They want to know if there are ways they can go after the Bidens now.”

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told the outlet, “You can be sure that there are prosecutors across Florida and Texas right now who are looking for a state law hook into the Biden family.” He added, “And if they’re not, they’re not doing their jobs.”

“All bets are off. You can expect grand jury indictments of leftist politicians like Biden, [former House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer as surely as night follows day.”

Conservative legal activists reportedly told The Post following the indictment of Trump that they wholly expect Republican DAs to target the Bidens among other Democrats. Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA notably suggested “Indict Donald Trump in Manhattan, We Indict Bill Clinton in Coeur d’Alene,” on March 31st.
