The midterm elections are beginning to creep up fast and Conservatives across the country are eagerly looking forward to routing Democrats at the ballot box and taking back some form of control within the federal government.

Former President Donald Trump is remaining heavily involved in the political process by working hard to throw his support behind those whom he agrees with. Congressman Mark Green received that support in the form of a Trump endorsement on Wednesday.

According to Ballotpedia, Green has held his current post since 2019. Trump announced the endorsement via his personal website where he typically publishes press releases.

Trump unabashedly praised Congressman Green in the announcement, saying “Congressman Mark Green is a Conservative Warrior for the wonderful people of Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.”

The former president added, “A U.S. Army veteran and a Bronze Star recipient, Mark has bravely served our Country, defending our Freedom and American Values.  He is a Champion for Secure Borders, the Second Amendment, Life, Families, and our Great Veterans. Mark Green is a fantastic Representative, and he has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

While in Congress, Green has thus far positioned himself as a conservative in many ways. He joined the House Freedom Caucus, Pro-Life Caucus, Prayer Caucus, House Republican Isreal Caucus, and many more.

Green has stood up for innocent lives, and been a strong advocate for pro-life legislation, voting against the “Women’s Health Protection Act” and voting for the “Discharge Petition for the Born Alive Act” which was supposed to protect babies after failed abortions.

When Roe V. Wade was overturned, Congressman Green was one of many who stood up for the decision publicly. On the day it was overturned, Green wrote a heartfelt post on Twitter.

“Today will go down in history as the day the Supreme Court righted one of the greatest wrongs in our nation’s history. Our prayers have been answered, and we must continue our fight to protect life in every state,” the post read.

Green has also publicly stated he supports Isreal. On his website, he writes, “I know from my experience fighting the War on Terror that Israel is our unwavering ally in the Middle East. A strong and robust relationship between Israel and America is critical.”

While the endorsements continue to roll out from Trump, each candidate continues to have strong conservative credentials which should give Americans hope for a massive red wave come November.
