WATCH: Jason Whitlock Declares ‘I Am Hardcore MAGA’ After News Of Trump Indictment in Moving Clip

Jason Whitlock, the host of the talk show “Fearless” was recently on Tucker Carlson’s show and gave his reaction to the news of the indictment. Mr. Whitlock says he has never voted in his life but that “I am hardcore MAGA tonight.” His 2-minute long denouncement of the indictment was picked up by many conservative pundits. The Calvin Coolidge Project account on Twitter wrote that “Jason Whitlock is one of the most important voices we have in this country.”

Benny Johnson of The Benny Show tweeted that Mr. Whitlock’s speech is “The most powerful 60 seconds you will ever see broadcast on TV. Jason Whitlock fighting back tears: ‘I have never voted Tucker. I am hardcore MAGA tonight. M-A-G-A. They want to turn this country into a Communist Marxist hellhole. This is tyranny. This is BULLSHIT.'”

Mr. Whitlock commented that it was not “with pride” that he had never before voted but that this made him “hardcore MAGA tonight.” Whitlock said previously he “observed Trump” and he was “somewhat supportive of Trump” but “they [Democrats] have made me MAGA and they have made me ready for whatever is next because what they are building for young people I can’t sit by and let it happen.” Whitlock warned that “if they have their way we are all catching hell except for the elite.”

Mr. Whitlock then opined “they [the Democrats going after Trump] have turned Trump into this devilish Luciferian character when they are the devils.” In effect, he argues that those who accuse Mr. Trump stand themselves accused.

When the news leaked, Mr. Whitlock posted on Twitter that “[t]his is an outrage.”

When Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) tweeted out lambasting the “un-American” “weaponization of the legal system” against Trump and promising to “not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue”, Mr. Whitlock tweeted out that “[t]his is [a] strong [statement].”

Following Trump Indictment, Florida Legislature Begins to Clear the Way For DeSantis Presidential Run

Conservatives have rallied around the indicted former President. Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) tweeted “Alvin Bragg has irreparably damaged our country in an attempt to interfere in our Presidential election. As he routinely frees violent criminals to terrorize the public, he weaponized our sacred system of justice against President Donald Trump. The American people will not tolerate this injustice, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg and his unprecedented abuse of power to account.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), a former rival Republican presidential candidate to Trump in 2016, tweeted that “The Trump indictment is not going to be the last salvo. More presidents will be indicted. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s political persecution of Donald Trump puts America on a very bad road. This incitement is not good for America and the rule of law.”

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) similarly noted that “A week ago a video circulated of a lunatic harassing a family on a New York subway. He hurled racial slurs (the family was white) and threatened them. Alvin Bragg thinks that man should walk free and Donald Trump should go to jail for a fake misdemeanor. It’s despicable.”

Senator Vance also released a press statement that said in part that the indictment was “political persecution masquerading as law”, “blatant election interference and a direct assault on the tens of millions of Americans who support him”, and “predicated on an unprecedented, doomed-to-fail legal theory and a baseless misdemeanor charge from seven years ago.”

Meanwhile, the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has yet to comment on the indictment.
