BREAKING: House Passes Speaker Mike Johnson's $60 Billion Ukraine Aid Bill, Aid To Israel

On Saturday, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, a hotly debated issue that has had many conservative Republicans rebel against the speaker. The legislation passed with 311 lawmakers in favor and 112 against. Among Republicans, Johnson was unable to get a majority of his caucus to support the package with 112 voting against it and only 101 supporting the aid package.

During the vote, dozens of Democrats could be seen waving Ukrainian flags on the House floor, prompting some Republican lawmakers like Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to boo their colleagues. "House Democrats are waiving Ukraine flags on the House floor as members of Congress vote to send nearly $61 billion more to Ukraine," Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) wrote about the vote. "Disgusting."

This House also voted overwhelmingly in favor of $26 billion for aid to Israel, with the final vote being 366 in favor with 58 against, 21 Republicans and 37 Democrats.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
