BREAKING: President Trump Issues New Statement on Case Against Him as Indictment Expected Today

On Wednesday morning, President Trump issued a new statement about the case against him brought by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) on charges of campaign finance violations. The statement comes as recent reports indicate that the 45th president will be indicted today.

“Every article I read, every show I watch, even the so-called Haters say that ‘President Trump did nothing wrong, there IS NO CRIME HERE!'” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “As Biden would say, ‘No, I mean it, I’m not kidding.’ The Crime would be if I get charged!!!”

President Trump is right. Multiple renowned legal experts have come out against Bragg’s case saying that it is built upon a shaky legal foundation.

Harvard legal expert Alan Dershowitz called the case against Trump ‘targeted injustice’

“When I was coming of age in the 1950s Southern prosecutors would target civil rights workers and search for any possible violation of the law, no matter how technical. If they discovered or invented a violation, they would indict, prosecute, convict, and sentence the target,” Dershowitz explained. “That, precisely, is what we are now seeing with the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, targeting the former president and current candidate, Donald Trump.”

TRUMP’S POLLING LEAD EXPLODES – DOUBLES DESANTIS ALMOST OVERNIGHT

“After spending months searching the criminal code for a law that Mr. Trump might be accused of violating, Mr. Bragg has apparently landed on a highly questionable campaign contribution provision that has never before been used in a comparable situation,” he continued. “All decent people, whether politically opposed to Mr. Trump (as I am) or supportive of his candidacy, should be concerned about this weaponizing of the prosecutor’s office for the political purpose of preventing a potential candidate from running for office.”

Despite these facts, Bragg has still brought the case and is likely to indict President Trump.

Sources told The Daily Mail that ‘There will be no arraignment this week” but that the president and his team will work with the district attorney’s office to appear before a judge in New York next week. They revealed that is is likely that Trump will be indicted today, Wednesday.

Following the announcement of the indictment, Trump will have to fly to Manhattan to get fingerprinted and have his mug shot taken.

Americans are holding their breath to see if the unprecedented indictment of a former president takes place today. The impact on the trust of the American justice system, if the indictment occurs, will likely bring lasting damage to the institution and its credibility.

Those who wish to support President Trump should assemble peacefully and make their voices heard about this potential miscarriage of justice.
