WATCH: Co-Founder of Anti-Trump Lincoln Project Goes On Angry, Deranged Rant After Trump's CNN Town Hall, Says Trump 'Will Be The Nominee'

Rick Wilson, co-founder of the anti-Trump organization ill-named Lincoln Project, went to Twitter yesterday to post about the CNN Town Hall with President Donald Trump. Mr. Wilson ranted angrily about how CNN should have never platformed Mr. Trump, a frontrunner in the Republican presidential primary, and how Trump's performance guaranteed his nomination as the Republican candidate for the White House in 2024. 

Yesterday, Mr. Wilson posted a tweet that read "I have words" and attached was the following rant. 
 

"We are in a break now from the presidential town hall with CNN Kaitlan Collins and whatever the f**k they thought they were going to get out of this. They instead have set a match to democracy once again" ranted the 59-year-old former Republican political consultant. Apparently providing a space for voters to interact with political candidates for office is now lighting "a match to democracy." Democracy evidentially, according to Mr. Wilson, doesn't require freedom of speech and of the press if they platform candidates who he personally does not approve of.

Mr. Wilson continued his anti-democratic venting by complaining that "You [CNN] are letting an insane person stand there and make people giggle and laugh when he jokes about rape." Here it should be noted that Mr. Trump was not convicted of rape and was making light of what he regarded as a ridiculous verdict against him and the political bias that motivated that verdict. In fact, during the trial, the only person who made fun of rape was the plaintiff who sued Trump for defamation when she uttered in a CNN interview with Anderson Cooper that people thought rape was sexy.

More miscontexutalizations followed by Mr. Wilson when he ranted that "You make people giggle and laugh when he jokes about abortion. When he calls an African American police officer a thug." "This insanity should be pulled off the f**cking air. Chris Licht you should be ashamed of yourself. This is astoundingly bad for the brand of CNN. It is astoundingly bad for the country. And it is astoundingly bad, honestly folks, for every other Republican candidate in the primaries. Rap that sh*t up, it's done," Wilson continued. 

Then came the admission of why Mr. Wilson wanted to pull the town hall from the air when he said that "You saw this tonight you can't beat him on the stage. Everybody else oars up time to go to work because he is going to be the nominee. This sh*t is unf**king believable- I have never seen anything like it. It is a disaster of the highest f**king degree."

Abraham Lincoln, whom Mr. Wilson founded an organization in the name of, once wrote in 1859 that "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves, and, under a just God, cannot long retain it." 

Mr. Wilson through his communistic and fascistic insistence that Trump ought to not have a platform from which to speak to the concerns and questions of the American voter is a freedom denier. His insistence that the press - even one as hostile to Trump as CNN - should engage with Trump and that there should be punishment for outlets that do is also freedom denying. 

All candidates from Trump to Robert Kennedy Jr. deserve to have a stage from which they can interact with the voter. That is what free and fair elections demand. 

Mr. Wilson is also in violation of Lincoln's famous stirring words uttered during his Second Inaugural Address: "With malice toward none with charity for all with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right let us strive on to finish the work we are in to bind up the nation's wound." 

Rick Wilson and his Lincoln Project is a profiter from the American divide and has shown only malice and lack of charity toward Republican candidates and Mr. Trump especially. In a free country one can disagree with a candidate for office and their words and beliefs but to demand total censorship is not in accordance with a free country or free and fair elections.
