Family Friendly Entertainment Company Links Arms With Christian Studio to Bring More Wholesome Content to Americans

Great American Media was founded in 2021 by Bill Abbott in order to bring family-friendly viewing to the average American, and former child star of 'Full House', Candace Cameron Bure, has linked arms with the entertainment company after leaving Hallmark.  

GAM is made up of three different channels that provide great entertainment as well as a free-ad based streaming platform called 'Great American Adventure'. Great American Living “celebrates family-friendly traditions” and features shows from “Father Knows Best” to 'Aloha Builds'. Great American Community has a variety of entertainment, such as cooking, crafts, pets, and even Christmas. While, Great American Family provides valuable entertainment featuring popular actresses Candace Cameron Bure and Lori Loughlin in brand-new films created by GAM.

The GAM family channel also runs timeless shows such as 'Full House', 'Little House on the Prairie', and 'Murder She Wrote', as well as brand-new Christmas movies comparable to those produced by the Hallmark Channel.

The merging of the two companies is not a surprise considering their similar values and missions. Pureflix is no stranger to positive entertainment either as the creators of the 'God’s Not Dead' series, 'Indivisible', 'What If', and so many more. As a company, they seek “To select media that strengthens your faith and values, is wholesome, and suitable for the entire family and streamed seamlessly on any device,” according to their mission statement. 

While all of the details of this merger have yet to be released, it’s clear that the mission will be to continue providing family-friendly, wholesome content to families around the country. Bill Abbott, president and CEO of GAC, tweeted about the merger explaining that it allows them to “maximize potential.” Abbott claims the merger will help in “furthering our commitment to original, quality content in a large & under-served market.”
