'There Is A Coming Storm' And 'We Need To Be Ready And Be Prepared': Franklin Graham Sends A Warning To All Americans In Powerful Speech

On Monday, evangelist Billy Graham addressed the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) International Christian Media Convention, warning of a 'coming storm' as our culture further deteriorates into wokeness and all manner of immorality.

During his 29-minute Keynote Address, Graham argued it is the job of the Christian to address this culture in love and wisdom. All the same, Christians should expect to face severe persecution, persecution foreseen and prophesied by Christ the Lord (Matthew 10:22).

“I believe there is a coming storm that we all need to be ready for,” Graham said to the audience in Orlando, Florida, as previously reported by the Christian Post. “The world has deteriorated so quickly. We cannot be deceived and we can’t be fooled. We need to get ready and be prepared.”

Graham also warned against the growing influence of cancel culture. Cancel culture is depraved, but its realm of influence continues to expand all the wider, And this is all through the pervasive influence of the radical left.

"If you're not going to preach the gospel, you don't have anything to worry about. If you're not going to talk about sin, you're not going to have anything to worry about; but if you're going to proclaim the gospel, they're going to try to shut you up," Graham added.

"Jesus told us the world hated [Him] first and they're going to hate you," he said, as Charisma News reports. "If you stand for Christ, the world is going to hate you... I believe there's a coming storm that we're all going to [have to] be ready for... it's not going to be good. The world is deteriorating so quickly. It seems like every demon in hell has been turned loose."

Graham is getting to the root of the issue -- human sinfulness. No man can truly love God apart from His regenerating work. But Christians are called to preach the Gospel to the unregenerate world, and they are to expect all the hatred that accompanies that activity. That may sound like a harsh saying, but it is a true one. The Christian must address the culture and advocate for the Christian religion, which has a place in the public square. And he or she must do so in love.

Following the speech, Graham wrote a Facebook post in which he acknowledged the speech, praising Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who also addressed the convention.

"Tonight it was good to spend a few minutes with Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis before we were both to speak at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention in Orlando. I appreciate the Governor’s clear voice and that he takes a stand against the evil that is trying to overtake our culture," Graham wrote.
