This Is 'Unacceptable': Chairman James Comer Takes Action After Cocaine Discovery In The White House

On Friday, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) announced that he would be using the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability to properly investigate the discovery and circumstances surrounding the cocaine that was within the White House.

The White House has remained apprehensive about providing details surrounding the discovery, with Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodging and weaving any and all questions related to the illicit substance, per the DC Enquirer. To top off the utter lunacy surrounding the situation, a Politico report said that authorities do not believe they will find the culprit behind the crime despite the massive amount of security in the government building.

Comer broke right through the smoke and mirrors surrounding the police investigation, sharing his intent with Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to investigate the matter himself. He noted the number of security concerns that would be present to allow such a substance to get within the White House.

“The presence of illegal drugs in the White House is unacceptable and a shameful moment in the White House’s history,” the letter read. “According to a senior law-enforcement official, the cocaine was found in a storage facility that is ‘routinely used by White House staff and guests to store cell phones.’ According to reports, USSS agents discovered a suspicious white powder inside the White House, prompting an evacuation of White House staff and personnel. The substance has since been confirmed to be cocaine.”

“This incident has raised additional concerns with the Committee regarding the level of security maintained at the White House,” it continued. “In order to assist the Committee with its investigation, please provide a staff level briefing on this matter by July 14, 2023.”

“The presence of illegal drugs in the White House is unacceptable and a shameful moment in the White House’s history,” Comer said in a press release with the Committee on Oversight and Accountability. “Congress funds White House security procedures, and the Secret Service has a responsibility to maintain effective safety protocols. This incident and the eventual evacuation of staff now clearly raises concerns about the level of security maintained at the White House. The Committee has oversight jurisdiction over USSS operations, and I look forward to additional information from Director Cheatle.”

When the investigation should be so simple with the amount of security within the White House, there is clearly something up with the agencies stating they would likely not be able to find the culprit. It’s either a cover-up for someone inside, widely believed to be Hunter Biden, or a sign of a complete lack of proper security for the home of the president of the United States of America. Either way, things need to be properly investigated and have action come after.

this corrupt administration needs to be stopped right now. the 25th needs to be invoked right now on both biden and Harris. there is evidence enough for bidens inability to lead and secure our nation. There is also enough evidence to prove Harris is unfit to fill the capacity of the presidency! Both of these to so called leaders need to step down! or face the consequences of invoking the 25th!!
