May Need Amputation: US Senator Kevin Cramer Has Serious Accident

Republican Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota sent a serious message to his followers earlier yesterday. According to his statement on Twitter, the Senator had a significant accident involving his right hand over the weekend.

Senator Cramer stated that he has already undergone surgery on his right hand and will be staying in North Dakota while he recovers. While the success of the surgery is currently unknown, Senator Cramer explained, “I continue to remain in North Dakota close to medical care as there is a high risk of infection and the possible need for amputation.”

The Senator seems to be taking the accident seriously while also not neglecting his job. The Senator ended his address positively, adding, “I am alert and in good spirits. Although I am missing this week of votes and hearings, I am monitoring Senate business closely and in constant contact with my colleagues and staff.”

He continued, “I plan to return to Washington DC after the Independence Day state work period and expect to be dolling out a lot of left-handed fist bumps.” Hopefully, the Senator’s recovery will be quick, and he will be back in DC soon with two hands.
