WATCH: At CNN Town Hall, President Trump Calls For Peace In Ukraine, Says Europe Needs To Pay Their Fair Share - 'They're Laughing At Us'

On Wednesday evening, 45th President Donald Trump sat down with CNN's Kaitlin Collins for a town hall in New Hampshire. During the town hall, Trump tackled January 6th, the 2020 election, and what Americans can expect for a second term.

The CNN moderator asked President Trump his thought about the Russo-Ukrainian War and who he'd like to have win the conflict.

In response, President Trump explained that "I want everyone to stop dying. Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I'll have that done in 24 hours."

Trump went on to explain that Europe needs to put up more money to equalize the United States' commitment to the war effort.

He said that during his presidency, he was able to get Europe to pay more on their defense expenses than any other president, adding that they are "laughing at us."

"They have plenty of money. They should equalize," Trump said. "I want Europe to put up more money because they are laughing at us. They think we are a bunch of jerks. We're spending $170 billion for a faraway land and they are right next door to that land and they are in with $20 billion. I don't think so."
