22 States File Savage Amicus Brief Demanding Biden Honor Vaccine Religious Exemptions for Military Members

On Monday, twenty-two states rallied together supporting some of our nation’s finest: Navy Seals. The states filed an amicus brief in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to fight against the Secretary of Defenses’ mandate requiring those in the military to receive the vaccine.

The Pentagon has stood by the directive the Biden regime handed down to enforce the COVID-19 vaccination policy in the military, disallowing both servicemen and women to make medical decisions on their own.

The amicus brief highlights the Administration’s continued rejection of religious exemption requests. The brief states, “The Administration’s near total denial rate for religious exemptions suggests—just standing on its own—that the Administration has cast aside [The Religious Freedom Restoration Act’s] demands to pursue a political decision to mandate widespread vaccination.” This disenfranchises many with legitimate objections to receiving the vaccine.

The brief went further, citing that “The Administration appears to be using another ‘work-around’—overstepping statutory limits to achieve a higher vaccination rate, as it did with the eviction moratorium and with its vaccine mandates.”

In fact, conservatives in the U.S. House attempted to put the Biden vaccine military mandate to a halt altogether back in February of this year, with Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) saying that “because of President Biden’s power-hungry, anti-science COVID-19 vaccine mandate, hundreds of valuable American service members are being forced out of our military, taking with them years of subject-matter expertise, careers of selfless sacrifice, and lifelong dreams of military service. This is strategically foolish, profoundly unAmerican, and completely unacceptable.”

Virginia’s Attorney General, Jason Miyares, appeared to reinforce the action taken in support of the military, saying, “Navy SEALs are some of our best and brightest, willing to sacrifice their lives to protect our freedoms. Those who have filed religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine deserve to be heard and taken seriously.”

However, House Democrats quickly refused to allow those in the military to make their own decisions about what goes into their body. If an individual can make the most self-sacrificing decision to serve this country, why can’t they also decide what vaccine they inject into their body?
