Dr. Gal Luft is the co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security and has some interesting information on the Biden family’s foreign dealings, according to the Washington Free Beacon. Dr. Luft was a former adviser to CEFC China Energy which Hunter Biden had previously done a $6 million business deal with back in 2017. CEFC China Energy also donated $350,000 to Dr. Luft’s think-tank.
The company was described by CNN as “[having] aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two.” Dr. Luft alleges that he provided information about Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and Joe Biden to the Justice Department back in 2019 and has threatened to publicly “name names” after his arrest in Cyprus on charges of illegal weapons smuggling.
Dr. Luft claimed that the charges were fabricated against him for political purposes. “I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the US. The US, claiming I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer. DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim & Hunter Biden,” tweeted the Israeli think-tank executive.

According to Newsmax, Mordechai Tzivin, Luft’s Israeli attorney protested this action by the Justice Department. Tzivin noted that the “arrest came four years after Luft cooperated with FBI and Department of Justice investigators to help them with information about the case.”
Robert Henoch, Luft’s American lawyer, relayed to the Washington Free Beacon that “Dr. Luft is a whistleblower” and that the Department of Justice is targeting his client “with trumped-up and false charges.” He further added that this “unfortunately appears to be part of an attempt to discredit a witness with critical information about an ongoing congressional and DOJ investigation.”
It is noteworthy that the lawyer recently informed the Justice Department that his client would be submitting a letter to Congress detailing what he knew. Dr. Luft claimed to be a “close friend and colleague” of Patrick Ho, a Chinese businessman who was convicted of corruption in 2019, in a letter to a court of support.
As the Washington Free Beacon notes “Hunter Biden worked closely with Ye [Jianming] and represented Ho in his legal case.” Ye was a former chairman of CEFC China Energy and served on the board of trustees for Dr. Luft’s think-tank that was founded by former CIA director James Woolsey.
The exact nature of the information that Dr. Luft alleges he provided to the Department of Justice on the Biden family remains unknown. Should Dr. Luft’s claims check out and should the nature of the information he provides prove to be incriminating, then this would add to the already large amount of damning information on the Biden family’s shady business dealings.
