Biden Administration Goes All in for Abortion, Calls Abortion Restrictions “Ultra MAGA”

According to Axios, the Oklahoma Legislature passed a new bill which is headed to the Governor’s desk regarding abortion. The new bill will effectively ban abortion after six weeks and is said to be modeled after the Texas abortion bill, known as the “Heartbeat Act,” which was signed into law last May.

The new Press Secretary for the Biden Administration didn’t hold back on her opinion of the bill. In an official press release from the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre claimed that “Today’s action by the Oklahoma legislature is the most extreme effort to undo these fundamental rights we have seen to date.”

She continued by saying, “This is part of a growing effort by ultra MAGA officials across the country to roll back the freedoms we should not take for granted in this country. They are starting with reproductive rights, but the American people need to know that other fundamental rights, including the right to contraception and marriage equality, are at risk.”

This rhetoric from the Biden Administration is nothing new. The Press Secretary continued her statement on behalf of the President by saying, “The President is committed to standing up for these constitutional rights, and for protecting Americans’ fundamental freedoms.”

This statement clarifies that the Biden Administration believes abortion to be a constitutional right. It will be interesting to see whether the Supreme Court agrees with their line of thinking. Regardless, the move to pass pro-life legislation across the county will lead to many lives being saved.
