On Wednesday, leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump issued a scathing video against President Joe Biden's handling of the American economy under his so-called 'Bidenomics.'
"One of the most important issues in this campaign is who can rescue our country from the burning wreckage of Bidenomics which henceforth will be defined as inflation, taxation, submission, and failure," Trump began. "Under my leadership, we built the greatest economy in the history of the world. In fact, we did it twice and when I get back in the Oval Office we will do it again and it will be bigger and better and stronger than ever before."
"On day one the Biden economic bust will be replaced with the historic Trump economic boom. Any numbers that you see are economically positive in the Biden administration is because they are running on the fumes of what we created years prior to their taking office," Trump explained before pointing out the various contrasting economic figures that have developed in recent years between the two men's presidencies.
Trump noted how real incomes have dropped by $7,400 per family while yearly income went up by nearly $6,000 under the Trump administration. The leading Republican then called out Biden's "fake job numbers," explaining that just 2.1 million new jobs have been created in Biden's 30 months in office while Trump created 4.9 million new jobs within that same time frame.
The former president then went after one of the most pressing economic issues facing everyday Americans including rising gas prices, rising inflation, and increasing mortgage rates. Trump went on to explain that mortgage rates reached a 30-year low under his administration and that in Biden's America, purchasing a home is increasingly unaffordable.
"Under Biden, the radical Democrat communists have piled over $10,000 in job-killing regulatory costs on the backs of every single American household in less than three years," Trump explained. "By contrast, under the Trump administration, we cut the cost of job-killing regulations by an amazing $11,000 per household. So look how that works when you compare us both."
The real estate mogul went on to explain how the stock market and 401ks were skyrocketing under his leadership and that now the Biden White House has brought upon a recession that has been covered up by the mainstream media, explaining that "the media tried to change the definition of recession to protect him."
Trump then went on to explain how millions of Americans are losing confidence in the American economy under Biden. "But America's economic resurgence is coming soon. With tax cuts, regulatory cuts, tariffs, energy independence, and even energy dominance, we will end Bidenomics and the disastrous Biden era, the most incompetent president we've ever had," the businessman said. "It will soon be over."
"We will do it quickly. We will do it effectively. And we will Make America Great Again," Trump concluded.
Bidenomics has been a disaster for the American economy. The economy under the Trump administration was the strongest it has been in decades and as inflation continues to lower the purchasing power of the American family, Americans are beginning to see how destructive the Democrats' economic agenda truly is.
