As American Hostages Face Execution From Hamas, President Biden Sits Out - 'This Is A Disgusting Disgrace'

On Monday, the Biden White House announced a lid, meaning President Biden will not be making any public appearances for the rest of the day, at 11:51 AM EST leading to condemnation online as hostages, some of whom are American citizens, are threatened with execution by Hamas in the Gaza Strip following the murder of over 800 Israelis over the weekend.

"JUST IN: President Biden has called a lid before noon," podcast host Kyle Becker announced. "Americans should not expect to see Sleepy Joe for the rest of the day. Even as a Middle Eastern war rages and a European war drags on with no end in sight, Biden will not face Americans or the press. This is not normal."

"Biden has "called a lid" for the rest of the day, meaning no public or press events. This is a disgusting disgrace," Fox News host Mark Levin wrote. "And, yet again, our enemies around the world take notice."

"You’ve got to be shitting me?!?" Donald Trump Jr. wrote on X/Twitter. "It’s Monday at noon. Our greatest ally in the Middle East is at war, women and children are being slaughtered and raped in the streets, and our imbecile president is checking out before lunch?"

The announcement of the lid comes just a day after President Biden was slammed for holding a BBQ with a live band at the White House as war raged in the Middle East.

"In the late afternoon and early evening, a live band could be heard coming from the area near the Rose Garden. Your pooler asked why a band was playing. From the White House: The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence Staff and their families," a pool reporter noted Sunday evening, according to Fox News.

"While Hamas holds Americans hostage, Joe Biden is enjoying a picnic with a live band," Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) wrote in response.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Hamas terrorists announced just an hour after the lid was called that they would be executing hostages on live television if Israel refused to give warning before air striking the Gaza strip.

Abu Ubaideh, the military spokesman for Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, said, "From this moment on, we announced that any targeting of innocent civilians without warning will be met regretfully to say by executing one of the hostages in our custody and we will be forced to broadcast this execution."

As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Israel Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer confirmed that Americans are amongst the scores of hostages taken by Hamas during their assault into Israeli territory.

“I think it’s scores of hostages,” Dermer told CNN. “I can tell you there’s also American hostages as part of that number as well.”
