As Biden Makes Speech On Junk Fees, Republican Lawmaker Launches Rescue Mission To Save Americans In Israel

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) has launched a rescue mission to Israel following the devastating Hamas terrorist attack that took place over the weekend which resulted in the murder of over 1,200 Israeli and 22 American citizens.

According to The Florida Press, Mills, a veteran of the US Army, flew to the embattled Middle East democracy to aid Israelis and help rescue 32 Americans. Mills told the outlet that despite his best efforts, there are still "hundreds" of Americans still trapped in the country.

The congressman explained that “helping and showing solidarity with our Israeli brethren and helping Americans evacuate” following the terrorist attack was something that he felt compelled to do.

Photos from Israel show Mills alongside dozens of American citizens who will now be returning home safely.

Before Mills was elected to Congress in 2022, he and a team of military contractors helped to rescue an American family stranded in Afghanistan after the Biden administration's botched withdrawal from the country.

"My friend, Florida Representative Cory Mills, is currently on the ground in Israel, helping to evacuate American citizens who are trapped in Israel," wrote Mayra Flores. "May God keep them safe as they continue their rescue efforts!"

"Incredible. Rep. [Cory Mills] is on the ground in Israel personally rescuing Americans that have been trapped there," wrote Alex Bruesewitz. "Cory Mills also flew to Afghanistan to rescue Americans after Biden’s disastrous withdrawal."

Mills has been a vocal critic of Biden's handling of the crisis, writing on X/Twitter, "It’s very clear that under Biden’s administration, Iran has continued to receive tens of billions more each year in economic trade, unfrozen assets, all to advance its role as the largest state sponsor of terror."

The Army veteran went above and beyond to once again save American citizens stranded in a dangerous country. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is making speeches on junk fees as the Middle East falls into chaos, at least 22 Americans have been killed in the deadliest terrorist attack in Israel's history, and the largest hostage crisis since 1979 is taking place.
