Auburn University Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze Baptizes Player In MASSIVE Christian Revival - We Are 'In Awe Of What God Did'

Last week, the head coach of Auburn University's football team Hugh Freeze participated in a massive Christian revival that led to the baptism of hundreds of students.

Due to Freeze's efforts, thousands of students attended the Unite Auburn event to engage in worship and hear from speakers which resulted in hundreds of young people being baptized. Included in the hundreds of baptized students was one of Freeze's players whom he personally baptized.

The Unite Auburn event featured music from the popular Christian band Passion Music and included sermons from the lead pastor of Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas Jonathan "JP" Pokluda as well as popular author and podcaster Jennie Allen.

According to 1819 News, Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl, football head coach Hugh Freeze and baseball head coach Butch Thompson all worked together to promote the successful event to students.

Following the event, hundreds of students went out to Auburn's Red Barn to be baptized with a video showing lines of people waiting to go in as their peers stood in waist-high water.

As each student was baptized, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause for their fellow student, as reported by Breitbart.

Reportedly, around 200 people were baptized that evening with senior Michael Floyd saying, "I have never seen something like I did on Tuesday night. “It’s just a message of unity, saying when you’re a part of the body of Christ, you’re never alone."

"We are still speechless and in awe of what God did last night," Unite Auburn wrote in a Facebook post following the event. "Hundreds of students were baptized at Red Barn. Thousands cheered as they were raised from death to life. God is moving on Auburn's campus and it doesn't stop here."
