Biden Admin Literally Opened The Floodgates: Illegal Immigrants Pour In By The Thousands Through WELDED OPEN Gates

Reports emerged on Monday that the floodgates built into the U.S.-Mexico border wall in Arizona were literally welded open by the Biden administration as illegal immigrants in the thousands are just walking through the wide-open gates at a leisurely pace.

The 114 enormous 12-foot wide gates that were built along the border near Lukeville, Arizona to allow monsoon floodwaters and endangered animals to move freely without damaging the wall were deliberately welded open by federal officials, according to The New York Post.

The Post reported that an average of 1,400 illegal immigrants, ranging from China and India to Egypt and South America, have been simply walking in, unopposed and unrestrained across a 36-mile-long stretch of border near the small town of Lukeville. Undermanned and underfunded Border Patrol agents appear to be powerless to stop it, or even slow down the flood appreciably.

The outlet stated that, per Border Patrol sources, the orders to open the gates were issued by multiple federal agencies in the Biden administration including the National Park Service under the U.S. Department of the Interior, headed by radical left-environmentalist Secretary Deb Haaland.

“We tried to shut the gates but the order came down that we had to leave them open,” one source said. “You wouldn’t leave the front door of your house open in a bad neighborhood.”

In a statement to The Post, Customs and Border Protection claimed, “The individuals had already crossed the border from Mexico, are on U.S. soil, and are subject to U.S. immigration laws. Individuals who cross unlawfully will be subject to the lawful pathways rule, which places common-sense conditions on asylum eligibility, with certain exceptions. Those who do not establish a legal basis to remain in the United States will be removed.”

However, the Biden administration over the last three years has demonstrated little will, let alone capacity to actually do so after gutting the enforcement capacity of CBP and kneecapping the agency with tough restrictions on deportation.

One source described a chaotic encounter with the illegal immigrants led by a "cartel guy" literally storming the storm gates in a harrowing scene.

"Three nights ago, a big group of migrants were on the Mexican side. There were two agents on ATVs [all-terrain vehicles] and one line agent trying to stop them from entering. The agents blocked the gates with their quad [bikes]. The cartel guy just started pushing people."

“Everything changed since [Biden] took over. This part of the border wall was built four years ago. Now we’re just letting people through."
“Brutal. No one wants to do this. They [illegal immigrants] commit a federal crime, we charge them, they don’t get convicted. They don’t get sent back. They get a credible fear interview, they get an court date years from now."

“We never hear anything more than that. The administration is not going to help us.”
