Republicans Come Out With Fiery Responses Against Insane New Biden Policy After Biden Decides to Remove Title 42

The Biden Administration has proved to be a train wreck when it comes to immigration policy from the beginning, but that doesn’t stop them from continuing to exacerbate the problem.

The Department of Homeland Security has released a statement saying that Title 42 will remain in effect until May 23, 2022. On that date, the order will be terminated, which is expected to lead to an increase in migrants. Title 42 is an order that allows for the expulsion of migrants due to ongoing public health concerns.

Secretary Mayorkas voiced, “Title 42 is not an immigration authority, but rather a public health authority used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to protect against the spread of communicable disease. Title 42 remains in place until May 23 and, until then, DHS will continue to expel single adults and families encountered at the Southwest border.”

In response, Gov. Abbott released a statement on Friday regarding the removal of Title 42. Abbott expressed his disapproval saying, “President Biden’s open-border policies are an unmitigated disaster for national security. His recklessness has forced the State of Texas to take unprecedented steps to fill the gaps—including deploying Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and over 10,000 Texas National Guard soldiers, jailing illegal immigrants who are charged with trespassing, and becoming the first state ever to build a wall to secure the border.”

Gov. Ducey of Arizona had similar things to say, “The Biden administration and Congress have turned a blind eye to our southern border for over a year now, and it’s devastating our communities.”

Ducey continued, “Title 42 allows federal officials to prohibit the entry of those who potentially pose a health risk. Even as we emerge out of the pandemic, this is a no-brainer policy that protects the health and well-being of American citizens. The removal of Title 42 will cause considerable harm to Arizona’s border communities, our state, and our entire country.”

Senator Ted Cruz has joined the fight in advocating against the removal of Title 42. He sent a letter to the Biden Administration addressing the issue on Friday. He also issued a fiery tweet.

The consequences of removing Title 42 are currently unknown, but it’s safe to say that it isn’t going to make the border a better place, nor will it improve the lives of Americans. The Biden Administration continues to show how little they care for Americans.
