66% of likely voters agree with GOP members of Congress who want President Joe Biden to take a cognitive abilities test and publicly release the results, according to a new poll from Rasmussen released Thursday.
56% are not confident that Biden is fit for the presidency, and 45% are “not at all confident in his ability.”
43% of Democrats also want Biden to take a cognitive abilities test, as well as 86% of Republicans.
Rasmussen also found that only 42% “are confident Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States,” and 27% are very confident.
The poll is in reference to 38 Republicans in the House of Representatives who signed and sent a letter to President Biden, asking him to take the same cognitive abilities test that President Trump took in 2020.
The poll comes as Biden’s approval ratings continue to decline. His disapproval is around 57%, and his approval is around 34%, according to a new CIVIQS poll.
Talk of President Biden’s mental decline has surfaced since he began his campaign to run for president in 2020. Many conservatives, Republicans, and even Democrats have spoken of his gaffes on social media. Even left-leaning journalist outlets have reported on Joe Biden’s mental decline.
Here is a video from Sky News Australia reporting on how “obvious” Biden’s mental decline is:
