Trump Surges To New Heights In Key Swing State Leaving The Biden Campaign Panicking

On Tuesday, a new poll out of Georgia showed leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump dominating President Biden in a head-to-head matchup as the elderly Democrat struggles with an increasingly lower approval rating and an America First movement that strengthens by the day.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) poll, 45 percent of those polled said they would vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming general election, while only 37 percent said they would vote for Joe Biden. Seven percent of Georgians said they would vote for a different candidate, six percent said they would not vote, and an additional six percent said they were undecided. Biden's has plummeted over the past few months, with the November AJC poll having Trump at 45 percent compared to Biden's 44 percent. The state of Georgia was crucial for Biden's victory in 2020, with voters of the Peach State narrowly giving him the win with 49.47 percent support compared to Trump's 49.24 percent, a difference of only 11,779 votes.

The poll, conducted from January 3-11 with 1,007 registered voters, also found that Biden is struggling among independent voters, with only 37 percent of them approving of his job performance while 54 percent disapprove. Those figures nearly match the country's overall mood, with Biden's overall approval standing at 38.2 percent with a 56.3 percent disapproval nationally. Meanwhile, Donald Trump's approval rating sits at 42.3 percent, the highest point since he left office on January 20, 2021, while his disapproval stands at 52 percent.

While President Biden continues to struggle to hold his own in various swing states, nationally, the mood has soured on his presidency. According to the Real Clear Politics polling average, Trump has a lead of 1.3 points over the 81-year-old Democrat in the upcoming general election matchup. As Donald Trump continues to draw a contrast between himself and Biden on the campaign trail, more and more Americans will realize just how poorly Biden's presidency has been for America. From high inflation to multiple wars overseas to an unsecured open border, Biden has failed to ensure stability for the American family. Under the Trump administration, the world was at peace, American families were thriving, the border was secure, and the economy was growing. Returning to the Trump policy agenda would be a welcome sign for millions of Americans and a necessity to ensure that America First policies continue for years to come.
