Biden’s Woke Military Suspends Former General Following Twitter Reply To First Lady

The Army suspended retired Three-Star General Gary Volesky last Saturday without pay for asking a pertinent question about the abortion debate: “What is a woman?”

In a since-deleted reply on Twitter, the retired general commented on a post by First Lady Jill Biden, referencing the overturning of Roe v. Wade while citing “daughters,” “grandaughters” and “all women.”

Volesky wrote, “Glad to see you finally know what a woman is.” That “hateful” post, according to Fox News, has gotten him suspended.

Tomorrow, we will continue to fight — for our daughters and granddaughters, and for ourselves — until all women can decide our own futures once again.

“‘Lt. Gen. Theodore Martin, commanding general of the Combined Arms Center, has suspended retired Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky from performing duties as a Highly Qualified Expert — Senior Mentor pending the outcome of the commander’s inquiry,” the Army told Fox.

Retired Lt. General Gary Volesky had been a consultant for the United States Army prior to this incident. In that capacity, he received a lucrative 92-dollar-an-hour contract.

Per USA Today, Voleskiy’s “Senior Mentor” position entailed, “advising senior military officers, staff and students participating in war games and other military activities.”

This man served 37 years in the Army under both Republican and Democrat Presidents. The problem for Democrats is they are losing everyday Americans with their ivory-tower rhetoric.

Until three seconds ago, a conventional answer to this hot-button question — ‘what is a woman?’ — was more than acceptable. Ironically enough, Doctor Jill hints at the conventional answer in her tweet — further evidence that the Left still holds on to some traditional categories, even if their grasp on them is increasingly fleeting. Wokeness, however, is against all conventions and especially against all traditions. Wokeness cannot coexist with America as established.

Wokeness is like an infectious disease, permeating all aspects of our public and private life. Trump tried to drain the swamp partly due to our federal government’s friendly disposition towards woke policies. But Biden has not put the same effort into fighting the ‘woke’ disease. Instead, he has embraced it!

Until Democrats return to traditional ways and pursue values conducive to the good life, they will continue to confuse the majority of Americans, who otherwise may be behind the curve on many of their policy suggestions. So far, it appears that’s too much to ask of the Democratic Party in 2022.
