New Poll Shows Most Likely Voters Rate Biden’s Economic Performance “Poor”

President Joseph R. Biden has not run our country in a way that is at all admirable or in keeping with his campaign promises. Americans generally agree on that much. Recent polling has Biden’s approval rating in the thirties or low forties — a far cry from the numbers he was enjoying around August.

And polling continues to be a bugaboo for the current President, as we shall see today. Biden wants it to be August 2021 again, perhaps more than anything. But there is no miracle waiting, no salvation on the horizon. Biden has made his cake. And he will soon have to eat it too.

Now, it is not that Biden was doing a good job prior to August. He emphatically was not. But his shortcomings could be clothed by a popular COVID response — a response that was not all that effective, but which people respected for a number of reasons.

We will not question the value assessments of Americans. That is their own business. But in any event, their value assessments changed after the disastrous Afghanistan pullout. No longer was President Biden the beloved savior of America from an “evil” Orange Man (a lie). In their eyes, Biden is a villain. And he will always be so until he shapes up and adopts many of the popular policies of one Donald J. Trump.

Perhaps Trump’s most popular policies (and there were many) were his economic ones. Trump knew the business. He knew and still knows how to run a company. And he brought that business acumen to the White House like no President before.

Trump’s White House was a well-ran machine, a product of his profound wisdom and the wisdom of America’s best minds. We want a man like Donald J. Trump in charge again!

Americans may not agree on that solution, but most likely voters are convinced Biden has done little praiseworthy on the economy. A recent Rasmussen poll has some results that will absolutely stun you! Nearly six in ten Americans would rate Biden’s handling of the economy “poor”!

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 27% of Likely U.S. Voters rate Biden excellent or good for his handling of the economy.

That’s down from 32% in December. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now give Biden a poor rating for his handling of the economy, up from 55% in December.”

These numbers are atrocious.  And they will consistently be so until he adopts the policies so profoundly set forth by his predecessor.

We know that will not happen. And 2022 will signal the distaste most Americans have for the current regime and all it stands for.
