Biden's Support Collapsing—New Poll Shows Devastating Loss

The latest I&I/TIPP polling has pronounced a devastating lack of support for President Joe Biden's candidacy in the 2024 Democratic Presidential Primary. Just over one-third of Democrats polled, 37 percent, support him in the primary. The only saving grace perhaps is that no other potential Democrat candidate comes close to eclipsing him.

As reported by Breitbart News citing the I&I/TIPP nationwide poll of 1,230 voters, the closest contender to Biden would be the potential nomination of former First Lady Michelle Obama, notably Obama hasn't expressed an interest in running as of this report. In fact, during a BBC Interview in 2022 she flat out said "No," to BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty as reported by WIONshe even added that she "detests" being asked.

Obama was the only option in striking distance with 10 percent of the polls, but this was before Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. broke onto the scene and has been polling around the 16 percent mark according to RealClearPolitics. In some polls, RFJ, Jr. gets up as high as 20 percent. An aging Senator Bernie Sanders at nine percent.

Current Vice President Kamala Harris follows languishing in single digits (6%) alongside Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (5%) and former Secretary of State and Senator Hillary Clinton (4%) of New York, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (4%), Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts (3%), and disgraced Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (3%). The I&I/TIPP poll disagrees with RealClearPoltics on RFK, Jr. giving him only three percent.

However, Issues & Insights does give an interesting perspective once the field is narrowed to only the declared candidates: Biden, Michelle Williamson and RFK, Jr.

"Biden gets 68% support, compared to 12% for Kennedy and just 4% for Williamson, with 4% saying “someone else” and 12% saying “not sure.”

The election-day implications for Biden are nothing short of catastrophic. Without the overwhelming support of his entire party, he can scarcely hope to scratch the increasing hold 45th President Donald Trump has asserted on independents rapidly becoming more concerned with Biden's age and its effects on his ability to carry out his duties as president.

As Kennedy continues to nip at his proverbial heels and gain traction despite being soundly sidelined by both the establishment media and the Democratic National Convention, which declared there would be no debates for 2024, the former environmental attorney turned activist is easily the most significant threat to a second Biden term from within his own party.
