The Cartel Will 'Own Every Inch Of The Border' As Up To 16,000 Migrants Per Day Expected As Biden's Border Crisis Worsens

Two months ago, Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz told Congress that the agency had no control over the southern United States border. That was when the border was experiencing about 5,000 migrants crossing it per day. Now the border is seeing over 10,000 a day crossing the border.

Things are only posed to get worse too. According to Just The News, border officials are saying that illegal crossings are expected to get somewhere between 11,000 and 16,000 migrants per day. The problem seems to be stuck in a loop, as the Biden administration is pulling more border security agents to work desk jobs processing the migrants, worsening the border’s security.

Per Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, only 10% of border agents are expected to be on patrol when illegal crossing hits that 16,000 mark. Instead, control of the border will be relinquished to the drug cartels. Judd is expecting the crisis to emerge in full force once the media attention surrounding the end of Title 42 subsidies, which will properly allow cartels to assume control of the border.

"As the talk starts to die down, as you start to see the media go away from the border, that's when we're going to see the numbers start to shoot right back up,” Judd warned on the John Solomon Reports podcast on Friday. "So we can expect post-Title 42, we can expect that our numbers are going to go up anywhere between 13,000 to 16,000 apprehensions per day."

Judd also spoke of the changes to border management when more migrants begin crossing the border. "When we're apprehending 3,000 people, we're pulling resources out of the field. We don't have as many Border Patrol agents patrolling the border. When we're apprehending 5,000 people a day – now we only have 50% of our border patrol agents patrolling the border. When we hit 10,000 apprehensions a day, that means we're only deploying 30% of our border patrol agents to patrol the border.”

Judd warned that whenever the percentage of border control agents sinks to a measly 10 percent, “the cartels will own every inch of the border.”

Biden’s handling of the border seems to sink lower every single day. As states have to fight to handle the crisis left to them, Biden seems all but content to allow the problem to continue until the media moves on from it. However, even once the stories of Biden's border failure stop flooding media outlets, the border will still not be secure. American families will still not be safe. Biden is entirely to blame for this issue.
