#BoycottDove Trends After Brand Hires Anti-White Racist To Be 'Fat Acceptance Ambassador'

Consumers are not too happy with the decision made by personal care brand Dove to pick an open anti-White racist as the brand's “fat acceptance ambassador,” leading to #BoycottDove trending on X/Twitter.

The ambassador's name is Zyahna Bryant, someone who is far from new to the news cycle. Bryant spread around false information about a University of Virginia student who accidentally drove in on a Black Lives Matter protest, per Reason. The student, Morgan Bettinger, drove down the road but a dump truck blocked her from proceeding.

Eventually, she stopped her car upon realizing there was a protest going on and the truck driver approached Bettinger to talk to her. She thanked the truck driver for stopping and assisting her, jokingly saying if she had messed up the protesters would have become “good speed bumps.”

Bryant then began an entire campaign against Bettinger for the one comment she made out of context, painting the young white woman as a vindictive and evil person. Bryant asked for people to write to UVA and ask for punishment against Bettinger which eventually spiraled into harassment against the student.

And now the very same person who led the whole campaign against a white student for a simple misunderstanding has a full brand deal with Dove. Bryant shared a video on her Instagram page sharing an announcement for her partnership and talking about what “fat liberation” means to her.

“#DovePartner Fat liberation is something we should all be talking about! That’s why I am partnering with Dove, to support the work of @naafaofficial, @flareforjustice in the Campaign for Size Freedom. Tell us what Fat Liberation means to you using the hashtag #sizefreedom and tagging @dove to share your story ♥️,” the caption read.

As if the very idea of “fat liberation” wasn’t enough to get consumers annoyed, having such an openly anti-White racist being the figurehead of the movement was the cherry on top for a full boycott.

“This is absolutely disgusting... I will never buy another @Dove product. Promoting this nasty vile piece of garbage who will not only tell the next generation it’s ok to be physically unhealthy it’s also ok to be a nasty mean bully. #BoycottDove,” one user wrote.

“This is what actual privilege in America looks like,” popular conservative personality Greg Price wrote. “BLM activist completely ruined the life of an innocent white girl with a false accusation of racism and gets a brand deal with Dove while Morgan Bettinger was kicked out of school and now needs medication in order to sleep.”

Even Elon Musk commented on the matter, saying “Messed up” in response to Bryant getting the partnership.

This isn't the first time that a brand owned by Unilever made a far-left move and was hit for it. Back in July, the Twitter account for Ben & Jerry’s took time on the Fourth of July to talk about “stolen Indigenous land,” per the DC Enquirer. Immediately, people were peeved about the anti-American messaging and boycotted the brand while also discovering that the headquarters for Ben & Jerry’s is on so-called “stolen Indigenous land.”
