BREAKING: Bob Barker, Longtime Host Of 'The Price Is Right,' Passes Away At 99

On Saturday, Bob Barker, the longtime host of the popular game show 'The Price is Right,' passed away at the age of 99. 

"Game show legend Bob Barker died this morning at the age of 99," ABC7's George Pennachio reported. "He was the longtime host of “The Price Is Right” and a longtime advocate of animal rights. May he R.I.P."



The popular host led the famous game show from 1972 to 2007, making it the longest-running daytime game show in North America. The host is also known for his work on 'Truth or Consequences' from 1956 to 1975. In addition, he was also an avid activist for animal rights.

He was awarded 19 Daytime Emmy Awards, an Emmy Award For Lifetime Achievement, and he was inducted into the Television Academy's Hall of Fame.
