BREAKING: Candidates Reveal Who Should Be 'Voted Off The Island' At GOP Debate

On Wednesday evening, seven Republican presidential candidates took to the stage at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California for the second GOP presidential debate hosted by Fox News and Univision. The debate started at 6 PM PST.

The candidates taking the stage include Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC), businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), former Vice President Mike Pence, former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), and Gov. Doug Burgam (R-SD).

The moderators came back after the break and attempted to make the candidates write down who should drop out of the race. DeSantis refused to partake in that venture along with the other candidates.

DeSantis took the opportunity to argue that polls don't determine who becomes the nominee and that Americans need a president who can serve all eight years. 

After being pressed on if he wrote something down on the card, Chris Christie said that he believed Donald Trump should be voted "off the island." Christie went on to explain that Trump has divided the country.

Ramaswamy jumped in and explained that Trump was a great president. He said that the America First agenda needs to be taken to the next level and that a younger candidate needs to take the lead.

The moderators then concluded the debate abruptly without asking for closing statements.
