BREAKING: Car Explodes At New York-Canada Border Near Niagara Falls - 'It Shook The Whole Building'

On Wednesday, a car explosion occurred on the Rainbow Bridge connecting Niagara Falls, New York, and Canada. According to law enforcement, the explosion took place on the US side of the bridge after a vehicle crossed from Canada into the United States. The FBI is currently on the scene, and early images of the explosion show a large blaze overtaking the vehicle. The explosion reportedly shook local buildings. 

New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) has been briefed on the incident, and all international bridges between Canada and New York have been closed.

"I have been briefed on the situation that occurred at the Rainbow Bridge in Buffalo," Gov. Hochul said in a statement. "At my direction, the New York State Police is actively working with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force to monitor all points of entry to New York. I am traveling to Buffalo to meet with law enforcement and emergency responders and will update New Yorkers when more information becomes available."

According to Fox News, the explosion has been designated as a terrorist attack.
