Tucker Carlson, in his third episode of Tucker on Twitter, and the first after a Fox News cease-and-desist letter, condemned former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo along with everyone else who "ran toward Trump" and "sucked up to him, ingratiating themselves."
The former Fox News host pointed out a shortfall in the 45th President that he was susceptible to flattery and that these people, he pointed out Pompe, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence among others, did so to "subvert his new administration from the inside."
"They all called Trump a visionary genius up until the moment he lost power. Then they unsheathed their real agenda as always: the neocon war agenda. And they piled on with maximum force."
He pointed to an appearance from Pompeo on Fox News Monday that saw him flip on the 45th President saying,"Trump had classified docs when he shouldn’t have had them, and when given the opportunity to return them he chose not to do that .. That’s inconsistent with protecting America’s soldiers .. some of these were pretty serious, important docs."
Carlson called Pompeo's relentless kowtowing of Trump "indelibly repulsive" noting that the Secretary of State did it with "relish and verve."Mike Pompeo hammers Trump on Fox: “Trump had classified docs when he shouldn’t have had them, and when given the opportunity to return them he chose not to do that .. Concluding his comments on Trump's indictment he told audiences, "The prosecution of Donald Trump is transparently political. He's literally Joe Bidens' main political opponent. He's polling over 60% of Republican voters right now. So, Joe Biden is doing what no president has ever dared to do. He's using law enforcement to lock up his chief rival. That's happening right now. Anyone who denies it's happening is lying to you."
However, he added, " But actually it's worse than that. Trump's prosecution isn't just political, it's ideological."

He explained, "Nobody with Trump's views is allowed to have power in this country. Criticize our wars and you're disqualified. Keep it up and we'll send you to prison. That's the message that Washington is sending. Not just the Democratic party but both parties are sending."
Carlson pointed out that America's infrastructure is suffering badly nationwide while money pours into Ukraine, and that's the way Washington wants it. Adding that while Trump may have flaws, "he's the one guy with an actual shot at becoming president who dissents from Washington's longstanding pointless war agenda. And for that, that one fact, they're trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him."
It would seem that Fox's threats of legal action and assertions that it still has Carlson under contract have not only failed to stop the most prominent voice in conservative media today but haven't even slowed him down as Carlson takes on some of the biggest names in the Republican establishment with devastating accuracy.
Should he continue, and should we see a second Trump administration, Carlson's message is clear: sycophants and yes-men beware.
