On Wednesday evening, eight Republican presidential candidates took to the stage in Milwaukee for the first GOP presidential debate hosted by Fox News and the Republican National Committee.
The second round of questions focused on climate change with Gov. DeSantis (R-FL) interrupting the moderators to take the opportunity to blast Biden for his response to the Maui wildfires.
Vivek took the opportunity to jump in and call the climate change narrative a "hoax" and argued that he is the only person on the stage not bought and paid for.
Chris Christie then hammered Vivek Ramaswamy saying that his talking points come from Chat GPT.
Nikki Haley then jumped in and said that she, as a woman, would get things done in Washington with her emphasizing that green subsidies are not working and China and Inida need to pull their weight when confronting climate change.
Sen. Tim Scott blasted the back and forth between Christie and Vivek explaining that the candidates need to tackle the issues rather than fighting one another. He explained that in order to tackle climate change, America needs to grow more jobs to do so.
During the debate, leading 2024 Republican candidate and 45th President Donald Trump joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson instead of joining the debate stage.
