BREAKING: Worldwide President of CNN Jeff Zucker Resigns From The Company After Investigation

The World Wide President of CNN, Jeff Zucker, just resigned today. This is a breaking story, but it appears the investigation into Chris Cuomo has something to do with it. Chris Cuomo was famously fired for helping his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Here is a statement released by the President on the matter:

“As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years. I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today.”

Brian Stelter reveals the relationship was with Allison Gollust, the Chief Marketing Officer of CNN. She will remain at the company.
