Following his successful interview with streamer Adin Ross, Republican nominee Donald Trump announced that he would be sitting down for an interview with X CEO and billionaire Elon Musk on Monday. Musk, who has over 193 million followers on his social media platform, has come out in support of Trump and has created and donated to a political action committee that likely supports Trump.
"ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!" Trump posted to Truth Social. Musk has previously interviewed several other presidential candidates, including Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Musk explained to reporters that his political action committee, America PAC, was created to support meritocracy and individual freedom. The billionaire denied reports that he was planning to donate $45 million to the PAC to support Trump. The billionaire explained that the false reporters were ridiculous, explaining, "Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I am making some donations to America PAC, but at a much lower level and the key values of the Pac are supporting a meritocracy & individual freedom. Republicans are mostly, but not entirely, on the side of merit & freedom."
“The intent is to promote the principles that made America great in the first place,” Musk explained during an interview with Jordan Peterson. “I wouldn’t say that I’m for example MAGA. I think America is great. I’m more M-A-G, make America greater.”
