BREAKING: Elise Stefanik Responds To Jack Smith's 'Disgraceful Non-Stop Witch Hunt' Of President Trump Following Indictment

Special Counsel Jack Smith and the Biden Department of Justice have let loose yet another indictment of 45th President Donald J. Trump and presented the details to the press late on Tuesday.

In response to the indictment, Rep. Elise Stefanik issued a blistering statement condemning the "non-stop witch hunt" against the leading Republican candidate.

"Today is yet another dark day in America as Joe Biden continues to weaponize his corrupt Department of Justice against his leading political opponent Donald J. Trump," Stefanik began.

"Less than 24 hours ago, Congress heard testimony from Hunter Biden's longtime business partner that Joe Biden joined Hunter's business calls over 20 times," the New Yorker explained. "This directly contradicts Biden's lie that he never discussed business with his son."

"Today's sham indictment of Donald Trump is yet another desperate attempt to distract attention away from the mounting evidence of Joe Biden's direct involvement in his family's illegal influence peddling scheme - one of the greatest political corruption scandals in history," the Republican conference chair wrote.

"President Trump had every right under the First Amendment to correctly raise conerns about election integrity in 2020," she said. "Despite the DOJ's illegal attempt to interfere int he 2024 election on behalf of Joe Biden, President Trump continues to skyrocket in the polls and will defeat Joe Biden and be sworn in as President of the United States in January 2025."

Independent journalist Brendon Gutenschwager shared the text of the indictment, confirming Trump has been federally indicted on  four counts:

"-Conspiracy to Defraud the United States
-Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding
-Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding
-Conspiracy Against Rights"
